Community Information

The Batemans Bay Soldiers Club enjoys a reputation for community support. We take pride in returning profits to the community in the form of group sponsorships and support.

The club also sponsors (together with the Batemans Bay Rotary Club and the RSL Sub-Branch) the Batemans Bay Youth Foundation which provides financial support to outstanding and needy youth in the community.

Free Child Minding is available Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Children aged from 2 years through to 12 years only. 1½ hour limit per child per night. Child minding available every night during school NSW holidays.

Internal well organised Sub-Clubs such as the Fishing Club, Snooker Club and Indoor Bowls provide enjoyment and a social outlet for Members and their guests.

The Club is also the forum for many Community Groups including:

  • RSL Sub-branch and associated Womens' Auxiliary
  • RSL Day Club (Tollgate Community Club) which is open to the community
  • Legacy
  • Combined Pensioners & Superannuates Association
  • Senior Citizens Association
  • Royal Volunteer Coastal Patrol
  • Probus
  • Masonic Daylight Lodge
