Sub-Branch Office Hours and Location
We are located on the ground floor of the Batemans Bay Soldiers club. If you’re not sure where, just ask the friendly staff at the entrance to the club. The office is open Monday and Thursday from 10am – 12pm.
Just pop in and say hi, or if you have specific business, we will do our best to assist you.
Also, we are here to help if you would like assistance filling out a membership application if you would like.
Social Activities
We are available for a coffee morning at 10am every Monday and Thursday morning. It’s a great opportunity to get out of the house and come along for a coffee/tea/hot chocolate and a chat.
Of note: the 2nd and 4th Thursday each month, the coffee is on the Sub-Branch.
We conduct these mornings to reduce any barriers for attendance and to ensure veterans have access to social / welfare-based activities. Nothing tastes better than a free coffee so come along and catch up with the team and other like-minded members.
Also, bring your significant other, they are also welcome to attend. And if you know of other veterans in the area, bring them along on any coffee morning, you don’t need to be a member of the RSL to participate, just a serving or ex-service member.
Occasionally we will hold other social functions. In the past we have been on the Clyde River cruise, we attended the AWM and later in July we are visiting the Naval Air Museum at Nowra. We have commenced trivia days and when we can we have a walking club and we have played pool as a group.
Bi-Monthly Meetings
We hold bi-monthly meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of the even months (Feb-Apr-Jun-Aug-Oct-Dec) at 2:30pm at the Soldiers Club. Come along and hear what’s happening within the RSL.
Commemorations
The Sub-Branch conducts commemoration services for ANZAC Day Dawn Service, ANZAC Day Main Service with a March from the Soldiers club to the Honour Stone and Remembrance Day.
